****Report continued ........

Allegation- Facility does not have adequate food supply for all residents per Regulations. Unsubstantiated

Based on staff and resident interviews along with observations of the facility and meal service, the department found that there was an adequate amount of food for the residents according to the Department’s Regulations. The food appeared nutritious and the sanitation in the kitchen appeared appropriate. Resident’s interviews indicated that food was good and there were no reportable issues to address. Staff interviews reflected that food supplies in facility were adequate at all times. Currently, there is no evidence to suggest that staff have failed to provide adequate food service to residents as required, therefore, this allegation was Unsubstantiated.

Allegation- Facility was not providing clean linens to residents. Unsubstantiated

LPA conducted interviews with residents, staff and toured the facility to investigate this allegation. LPA observed the bed to be made and the sheets and pad on top to be dry and odor free in all rooms checked. Interview with staff indicated that caregivers would change sheets for residents as needed and there have been no issues with caregivers not changing soiled sheets. Staff stated they clean the rooms and empties trash as often as daily. LPA observed linens to not be soiled or any incontinent odors on 9/9/26 when touring. Resident’s interviews did not reflect any concerns related to this matter. Staff who work at night check residents every two hours during the overnight hours and provide incontinent care when needed, including placing an absorbency pad on the linens and clean linens. Based on this information, this allegation was Unsubstantiated.

A finding that the complaint allegations is UNSUBSTANTIATED means that although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred.
